Dont remember who my first game was against but i remember it was about 1988 on the bob bank terrace at ninian park and we drew 0-0.It was a fairly underwhelming occasion and didnt really quench my thirst for football. It was only a few years later when i was a bit older that i really start to properly follow my football team Cardiff City.
Best Game
Excluding the two wembley appearances which were just a fantastic part of history to be involved in , i would say that Oldham 1 Cardiff City 7.We werent playing particularly well leading up to the game, and were behind Oldham in the league on goal difference. Due to suspensions and injuries City played with 3 strikers up front away from home and I thought it was suicide.Within an hour we were 7 nil up.
Worst Game
Wales 0 Russia 1. Hearbreaking. Wales didnt turn up , we lost to a very average russia side, and the wait continued - and still does- for qualification to a major tournament.
Had 2 great away trips to this ground and for just general really enjoyable away days, this is my favourite ground and i would love to visit there again
Dont really have a worse ground.Im a big fan of the small old rickety grounds, bit nostalgic when it comes to grounds like that. I was more excited about the prospect of a trip to chasetown that i would have been than , say a trip to the "Big 4"
UPDATE - I have a new worst ground although nothing to do with the actualy ground but the game -Play off Final vs Blackpool. Heartbreaking.
