Sheffield United v Stoke City, September 1989. United won 2-1 thanks to goals from Carl Bradshaw and Bob Booker.
Sheffield United 4-3 Nottingham Forest, Championship Play Off Semi Final, May 2003. After a one all draw at the City Ground, Forest took a 2-0 lead and the game looked all but over until a typical United comeback took the game to extra time. I also went to the Liverpool v Milan Champions League final in 2005, but nothing beats that night at Bramall Lane.
The 3-2 defeat on the last day of the 93/94 season at Chelsea. It was unthinkable that United could go down that day, particularly after taking a 2-1 lead, but they did thanks to a last minute Mark Stein goal and some questionable performances from the Wimbledon lot up on Merseyside. It also rained non stop that day.
Visited Camp Nou on three separate occasions, once for a match (Barca 3-1 Sporting Gijon, the ONLY home game Leo Messi didn't play in 2011/2012 season) and twice for the Camp Nou Experience. Whether full or empty, it really is a sensational stadium and walking out of the tunnel on the tour is a fantastic experience.
My dad took me in 1997, and I'll always remember him saying to me 'Son, you'll not know you're there until you're stood at the turnstiles'. I thought that was a silly thing to say, surely I'd see the floodlights at least? But no, he was spot on (which is rare for him) and if memory serves there were a total of 7 different type of stand on the four sides, with one side having three different roofs!
