In a bizarre ruling, a court in Germany has decided that SC Freiburg will not be allowed to play league games in their new stadium at night or on a Sunday lunchtime.
The German Bundesliga side are hoping to move into the new 35,000 capacity SC Stadion later this season, but have met opposition from local residents.
A district court in Germany has now ruled that 1pm to 3pm on Sundays and after 8pm every day is classified as a "quiet time" and as such the club will be unable to play league matches during those times. The rule however, does not cover domestic or European cup matches.
The club are confident that they can get the ruling overturned before they move into their new £70m home, and will take the case to the German High Court, if necessary.

SC Freiburg's new stadium has had a strange condition attached to its planning permission banning it from hosting matches at night or on a Sunday afternoon.
The Bundesliga side have already begun work on the stadium after the council threw out complaints from local residents regarding increased traffic and noise pollution. However, in a strange twist, the council is now effectively forcing the team to only play matches on a Saturday afternoon.
The decision will work in traditionalists' favour as many fans in Germany are upset at their matches being moved for TV coverage, much like fans are in England.
The new 34,000 seater, €80m stadium is due to be ready for the start of the 2020/2021 season.

SC Freiburg’s new stadium looks set to go ahead after the club overcame a legal battle with local residents.
Opponents are concerned about noise pollution and increased traffic on match days. However, the local courts have rejected the concerns, giving the Bundesliga club the green light to continue the project.
The new 34,700 capacity stadium is to be built close to the city’s airport. Just over a third of the stadium will be “safe standingâ€, seeing 12,400 rail seats installed.
It’s a large jump from their current 24,000 capacity Schwarzwald Stadion. It looks like it’s needed though - last season’s average attendance of 23,894 seeing the ground 99.6% full.
