San Diego Loyal SC has released plans to build a new 15,000 capacity stadium.
The newly formed club is currently playing its first season in the USL Championship Western Conference, the second level of football in America.
The new stadium would replace the team's temporary home at Torero Stadium and is planned to last for up to 10 years as the club looks to build up its fanbase.
San Diego loyal are backed by US soccer legend Landon Donovan who scored 57 goals in 147 appearances for the US national team.
