FC Cincinnati have unveiled the final interior design to its new stadium. The seating arrangements and artwork will feature the club's Gary the winged lion mascot after a vote by the club's fans.
The new West End Stadium is due to open next year and will have a capacity of 26,000, making it one of the largest soccer-specific stadiums in the US.
FC Cincinnati entered the MLS East last year, finishing 13 points adrift at the bottom of the table, with a -44 goal difference.
The city of Cincinnati is also bidding to host matches at the 2026 World Cup. However, the new West End Stadium is not in the running, with the nearby 65,000 capacity Paul Brown Stadium put forward instead (home to the Cincinnati Bengals NFL team).

FC Cincinnati are the latest US team to announce plans to build a new stadium.
The MLS Eastern Conference side currently play at Nippert Stadium at the University of Cincinnati. The club now plan to spend a cool $250m constructing a brand new 26,000 capacity venue.
Hot on the heels of LA Galaxy, the new ground will also include 3,100 “safe standing†seats. The stands will be built at a steep 34 degree angle to give great views and ensure that no seat will be further than 130ft from the pitch.
West End stadium will also feature 513 “vertical fins†which will contain LED lights allowing the ground to display messages and light shows on its exterior.
It is hoped that the new stadium will be ready for the start of the 2021 MLS season.
