First Game

Arbroath 3 v 4 Hibs November 1968. My dad was an Arbroath supporter and this was the first game he decided i was old enough to attend.

Best Game

Hibs 3 v 2 AEK Athens after extra time September 2001.Probably the best atmosphere i have ever been in at a game. The ground was bouncing for the entire game. The rendition of Sunshine on Leith had the hairs on the back of the neck standing and was far better and passionate than any version of Walk On the Celtic fans have done, and they do it quite well .
Just beats the Hibs 6 v 2 Hearts October 2000game. Always good to win the derby game but this was just class

Worst Game

Sunderland 1 Norwich City 0 Championship. Can't remember year but Roy Keane was in charge of Sunderland. This ended up more a game of hoofball rather than the quality football we are led to believe the English game is reknowned for.I can't remember either of them managing to string more than three passes together. I've seen some pretty poor performances by Hibs epecially in the last couple of seasons, but this game was tedium of the highest order

Loved the atmosphere and passion within the stadium and the long climb up to Leazes Corner

Quite simply it was a dump when i visited. An old wooden stand that looked like it was ready to fall down while all the paint was peeling of it. Mudbanks for terraces and lots of rubble lying about. Unfortunately the game that i visited this ground for ended up with the Arbroath and Alloa supporters exchanging this rubble with each other.
