wozzey has rated The Shooting Field 3.0 out of 5.
The Shooting Field is not currently enjoying its greatest era but back in the mid 80s and early 90s they were the top side in Sussex. The small press box to the right of the modern clubhouse was regularly visited by the local press. The ground is enclosed by a wooden fence which has now seen better days and advertising hoardings surrounded the pitch. The changing rooms are small but satisfactory and have hosted some of Sussex's best footballers. Though seen better days the ground deserves success as one of the friendliest and homeliest ground in the Sussex County League
There is no seating or stands but views are good from all standing points around the pitch. The pitch can also be seen from within the clubhouse
Good facilities within the clubhouse
Drink available within the clubhouse
