Morecambe are a small town team who only recently moved into anew ground, so, not surprisingly, it's been built quite cheaply and isn't finished. But it's good enough. The club would be daft to risk their League status by splashing out on stadium improvements when they'd only end up with one of the best 10 grounds in non-league. More importantly, MFC are a club with a friendly following who seem delighted to have achieved as high a status as they are ever likely to. I like them very much.
A wee bit soulless in all honesty. The ground seems to be situated on the road to nowhere. You could visit for a match and not see the sea front at all, which would be a shame.
From the grandstand the view is fine. I couldn't say about the rest of the stadium but the ends are basic and the other side almost non-existent at the moment so only the brave stand there to watch.
Again, the grandstand is fine but the rest of the ground is, without wishing to be unkind, very basic indeed.
Notknown.
Not noticed any problem on either of my visits.
Morecambe fans seem to be few in number but capable of creating a decent noise, regardless. The little covered end terraces trap the sound quite well which helps. I've never met a nasty or loud mouthed Morecambe supporter and it's not often you can say that about any side, is it?
