It's a very nice ground is Gigg Lane. Traditional looking from the outside, pleasant and, yes, leafy inside. There's a corner missing, though, which looks a bit weird. Also, would the Shakers please decide once and for all which end is for the away fans? Thank you.
A really pleasant location among trees and next to a cemetery. Not that anyone is in danger of death through watching Bury FC whose fans are as unthreatening as they come.
The Manchester Road end isn't perfect. It's an old standing terrace with seats added. It was better before in my opinion.
All adequate.
Not known.
Never had the slightest hint of a problem at Gigg Lane. It seems to be as safe a ground as you could wish for.
Sedate is the best word I can think of. Bury supporters seem a bit like the fans I once encountered in Sweden, watching the game quietly and then going home for tea. At least we are spared the usual insults and stupid chanting that spoils many an afternoon elsewhere.
