welshentag has rated Bramall Lane 5.0 out of 5.
Fans passionate, intimidating, and seemed solidly behind the home team. Positive support even for (home) player errors. They seem to love their club. Very city-oriented songs, chants, and general atmosphere. Classic football sentiments with continuity from industrial past. Facilities not quite up to expectations for those coming from more expensive stadia. Location is very close to city centre. Embedded in terrace house neighbourhood. Seems anchored in local population and built environment. Railway and coach stations not far. Plenty pubs and eateries near ground (Heeley, London Road, Ecclesall Road), and the Sheffield ales are right up there.

View good from upper tier of Bramall Lane Stand. Steep but decent legroom. Other stands, I don't know.
Facilities more like a big 'ground' than a 'stadium'.
These things are over-priced as they are everywhere. Plenty of boozers in the locale, so I would always recommend refreshment OUTSIDE the ground.
South Yorkshire Police never had a great rep, but they were fine.
