trebor has rated Van Donge & De Roo Stadion 4.5 out of 5.
If you want to visit Rotterdam for Football or any of the big Dutch Clubs then check the fixtures try and add this to your trip as the contrast to here and a massive neighbour shouldn't be missed.
They must be among the smallest and friendliest top division side in Europe.
Imagine Accrington Stanley in the Premier League.
The locals and stadium staff& supporters will make you feel very welcome and tickets are very cheap and readily available in the cabin on your way in off the Tram stop.
A short tram ride from Rotterdam City centre into a residential neighbourhood that may be a Student Village, There maybe some student bars in the vicinity.
I sat in the front row which is raised above pitch level, legroom is ample. the view is excellent.
Good a small crowd should mean little queue.
You can enter a Pub at the side of the RVP stand with a ticket, away fans were welcome and the Beer is good so is the food with the Dutch staples of Chips with funny sauces and you are allowed to take both into the stand.
Very helpful and are more likely to approach you to chat about anything.
There is a small standing section in the middle with Drummers that know how to play them along with choreographer that keeps them singing all game.
Away fans were OK and copied a lot of English teams songs.
