trebor has rated Valley Parade 3.0 out of 5.
A decent ground, poor home team and added to the day rail strikes & drissle.
The stadium is impressive and the club attracts good crowds for the division the away side were very good, meaning my early exit plan to counter the rail strike was almost scuppered by home fans flouncing off early.
Reasonable uphill walking distance from either train station and plenty of Buses from Bradford Interchange past the ground.
Area around stadium is predominantly Islamic and as i've found in other Cities this can mean few pubs, but plenty of patronised Asian & Middle Eastern eateries/ City centre has plenty of Pubs.
This is an old site but with new stands, I sat in corner of the two huge newest stands but the view wasn't that great of the near side touchline towards the far end. Not much legroom either and the seats were dirty. lower rows looked wet meaning roof isn't effective lower down.
As the main stand doesn't reach to the goalline and hasn't much wind protection I'd guess sitting at the edge would be exposed.
The stadium doesn't sell out and there looks to plenty of options even if one ends closed for small away crowds.
Didn't use.
Thankfully ample takeaways, cafe and shops nearby offering interesting choices.
Ground outlets are expensive and £2.40 for small tea and far below what i've experienced at other Yorkshire Clubs it was lukewarm & PG Tips .
.5 star for adding the milk for you meaning no wondering around looking for them.
Their didn't appear to be many, no Police.
Not too bad home drummer better than most including the rubbish away drummer.
A hammering meant loads left early some would have been heading home anyway due rail strikes curtailing services after 17:20.
