"Aberystwyth Division One 22/23"

has rated Uppingham Playing Fields 3.0 out of 5.

trebor's review of Uppingham Playing Fields

Expecting it to be exposed on the coast in January but it's tucked behind a big building and has a stand facing away from the prevailing winds. One main stand with seats and uncovered on all other sides.

Location

About 700 yards from the Train Station heading South, beach on left, there is a community sports and recreation centre with the ground behind. Borth is better in summer for cafes, but two pubs hold out through winter.

View

Compact stand that looks scruffy but the seats look like they've come from an old school and are surprisingly comfortable with better back support than usual stadium seats, decent view but you'll get a better one outside

Facilities

Think the leisure centre was used.

Food & Drink

Proper mugs and a £1 served by those who want to be there.

Police & Stewards

There are none just a few club officials and volunteers

Atmosphere

Plenty of laughing at the ref.
