trebor has rated The Weaver Stadium 2.5 out of 5.
Ground looks relatively new and has one main seated stand built to house all club facilities, goal ends are uncovered with the far side being a small covered terrace without crush barriers to lean on.
In among new housing developments and around 3/4 of a mile from train station with the town centre in between. Did not see any bus routes nearby or stops.
Seats are large with plenty of legroom main issue was the bottom row was also the path to the upstairs bar of in the main stand which meant constant stream of spectators passing by, stand is raised so you can see most of pitch over standing spectators heads.
One small toilet at pitch level in main stand, possibly more in bar. Not enough urinals for crowds above average
Quality pasties and sausage rolls that look small but are packed with fillings, priced fairly.
No police one sour faced female steward behaving like a headmistress
Nothing much apart from away drummer who just hit it.
