trebor has rated The Ring 4.0 out of 5.
The football club is part of a large sports facility created by the Llay Miners Welfare Institute with Cricket Bowls and a large entertainment venue.
In the large village of Llay about 5 miles north of Wrexham, pitch is behind institute building and around Cricket club house.
Bus 33 & 34 run from Wrexham Bus Station half hourly.
Comfortable new stand with plenty of cover, large dugouts impede view of nearside touchline, overhang off pitch side catering hut, uncovered hard flat standing on all sides.
Large institute with history of coal mining, no toilets seen at pitch side but a Cricket clubhouse also within facility.
Basic and cheap pitchside kiosk, Institute with substantial offerings with Cricket clubhouse which might be available when Crickets on possible.
Volunteers who worked to provide a tidy and smart ground.
Crowd mainly of players relatives and friends, Wrexham at home so might have hit the numbers.
