trebor has rated The Pirelli Stadium 3.5 out of 5.
A nice tidy little ground and even with Burton struggling to get 3,000 crowds they have stadium that perfectly matches its support,
Catch the Villager Bus, stop is station side directly outside the Train Station it's then a quick 5 min ride with Plus Bus tickets valid. Stop just before roundabout there will almost certainly be friendly supporters on it so follow them.
Seemed to be a couple of traditional pubs among the terraces on road towards the Stadium non of which appeared were bland chain style Pub's. This is the home of Beer so it's certain that this town's Pubs will have regulars that DO know what a good beer is. Even if the area is dominated by the Chemical Brothers favourite tipple.
Modern terrace with one seated stand, Small children may struggle too see much as the barriers are on the high side. As any the old boy will know if you want a place to lean on get in early.
Very small and would struggle if a big crowd attended. They are around the back of the stand so it's a bit awkward having to walk back up the stand and down the steps every time you need to use them.
Congratulations on providing plenty of bins to put rubbish in which were also used.
Would be five if it wasn't for the location around the back of the stand and without shelter.
There was a Cafe style area for you to drink and eat, the prices were competitive with fast food outlets yet and were one of the better offerings at a Football ground/
A very relaxed and appeared to be training some very young staff which appears to be coming more common at lower league, friendly grounds. It does worry me a bit as to what they would do if it did kick off.
Home fans get a 5 the stands certainly aid the noise.
Southend get a 0 for being predictable and failing to sing anything original.
