trebor has rated The New Meadow 3.0 out of 5.
Smart ground that won't appeal to the ''clapped out character'' hopper types. Not such a bad thing. It works for the regular supporters, if the operational staff worked out a better ticketing system it'd be much better. Even when they introduce online tickets smart cards you still need to pick up the first purchase from the ground. queues were still long at 15:00
3 miles from town centre, supporters bus from bus station has been cancelled so number 27 or Meole Brace Park & Ride.
Frustratingly the park & ride has allowed fans to park at the park & ride who leave at the same time as the 17:20 bus, meaning it gets stuck in the traffic.
Depends where you sit, end of row seats are ok if you are in an empty row but the handrails squeeze your space. The view and shelter are pretty good throughout. Seats are getting weather worn.
Plenty of toilets and clean enough, about 5 stars better than the pipe into the Severn of the old ground.
Better than it was, looks like a local firm has taken over, Supermarkets surround the ground and burger vans at the fan park. Separate woods bar in west stand.
Most have been in the job for years.
Plain and ordinary, it's got two home sections who are supposed to be the ''ultras''. one just winds up away fans.
