trebor has rated The KCOM Stadium 3.0 out of 5.
Smart & tidy stadium of a club often overshadowed by the bigger city Clubs in Yorkshire. Even though they've been the most successful of them in recent years.
You could say the City itself has been in the same boat. The City too is far better than what people think of it and I found it as good as anywhere in Yorkshire.
And very cheap(if not the cheapest non-member tickets in the 92) £12 behind goals, £18 in corners. Price depends on category. For a recent EPL club it's good value. Seeing that a nearby EPL club charges double that.
Shop had lots of sale items on too.
Easy for Bus connections and an off Main Road walkway from Centre.
Take any Bus heading West from Station or City Centre.
If you alight on the opposite side of the Main Road you will need to Walk down the ramp on the West side of the Railway Bridge on Anlaby Road Walk up this road from right Station or the walkway on the left. It should take 20-30 mins.
I love the new bowl stadiums as they offer(What I consider the best) the most neglected view of a stadium, the corners. I reckon you get a good view of the goal and good view along the pitch. Theses stands are not favoured by most fans so are always readily available with plenty off room.
Added Bonus if you choose a beginning of row seat you get a gap between you and the wall(does not impede any view) handy for putting bags and tea.
For a new ground they were not too good. Far too few in number and even with the small crowd at my end they were stinking before half time. A full house would be even worse
As above not enough Kiosks if this was a full house. Plenty of choice, good ''Yorkshire tea'' and lots of big sized sausage rolls and even Pizza. general Football Price but portions fine.
A bag search at entrance, lots of young kids on, supported by very old semi-retired stewards.
Very quite and the most lethargic away support ever seen. Good point and a half meant no generic crap.
