"Football in Rugby land"

has rated Stebonheath Park 2.5 out of 5.

trebor's review of Stebonheath Park

Decent enough ground that needs repairs and refurbishment. A large main stand that's raised and an uncovered seated stand opposite with a terrace, ends are open with athletic track.

Location

Up a steep hill from Bus Station around 1/2 mile walk, train station a further 1 mile or more away.

View

Raised stand offers a good view but with two thirds cordoned off it gets full with less than two hundred in attendance when its raining, first few rows get soaked and even higher up gets wet, poor shelter on all sides.

Facilities

Smart clubhouse at entrance

Food & Drink

Flimsy cups served and you do your own milk, sugar etc. £1.50 not too bad priced and at least its inside.

Police & Stewards

Allowed supporters to stand behind seated area as it was the only area that avoided the rain

Atmosphere

Got better towards end with the bravest souls sitting in the open stands during the downpour that split the steady rain.
