trebor has rated St Mary's Stadium 4.0 out of 5.
Tickets discounted for cups meant that fans that care went in place of those who only watch the EPL, and how much better the day is for it.
Smart 20 year old large stadium hosting a Premier League Club looks O.K
In an industrial dock area with little around but a mile or more from station with the city centre in-between. Lots of bus routes head along the main roads to the North and South of the stadium including a soccer special from the train station and Ferry Quay.
Sufficient for new ground, and corner stands that in my opinion provide the best view outside the premium centre stands.

Premier League standard, that means rubbish and expensive. Luke warm pie and half full tea. Queues were small now I know why.
Helped find seat, didn't cope with away fans in home area or stopping them trying to breakthrough from the cordon.
Don't listen to those who dismiss the FA Cup, they are just missing the TV games. When 5,000 away turn up and the home fans are taking a rare chance at cheap seats you can tell all were delighted to be there.
