"At the far end"

has rated Maes Y Dre Extension 3.5 out of 5.

trebor's review of Maes Y Dre Extension

A ground with compact facilities. Down the far end of Maes-y-Dre and lower down than the rest. One side with all facilities, grass banking that allows you to watch the Rugby as well.

Location

Visible from the bypass and. Its North of the station, over the roundabout turn first left and head to the end of the lane. Welshpool Town is the first pitch. Head past the Rugby Club through the gap in the hedge and look left. It's all grass so it might be wet and slippy, steps down are at halfway and take you in to stand.

View

Very cosy inside the only stand, two rows of backless seat might ache your back. View is ok, but from the park benches surrounding and the high bank its great but very open.

Facilities

All you need at the level a toilet Male and Female..

Food & Drink

£1 tea and light snacks served in a proper mug.

Police & Stewards

As always at this level run by volunteers.

Atmosphere

A bit of encouragement from locals who welcomed strangers.
