It's unique it's awkward and holding back the club financially. Being easy to get to is one of it's redeeming factors nostalgia fans will dribble over it's untidiness but you would soon tire of it if you were a Luton Town regular.
The Main Stand has a very rickety and slippery uncovered staircase around the back to get to the top, I wouldnt like to exit it in wet conditions in the dark at Full Time. I headed down and towards the Bus Stop.
For ease of getting there it's excellent yet it's not in an area that's overwhelmed by facilities The Club has stalls for Alcohol & plenty of Fast Food stalls although not cheap for basic football food. £4.50 for the small Cheese Burger.
There didn't appear to be any Pubs but there are plenty of Asian takeaways on the main road it they open on Saturday match time.
Bus from Train Station is any off the Bus Station opposite along a fast Guided Busway 3 mins to ground.
On the return the Bus waits to fill up rather than just go once the next bus pulls up behind slowing up the return.
Trains are 30 mins from St Pancras.
Cramped and blighted by obstructions, I had room as it looked like the Luton fans in the know hadn't booked around me due to the number of posts & pylons in the way. Seats are low down and do not have much leg room and can get quite intimate.
Very shabby & weird bloke trying to look at what you are doing. Not many for the main stand.
£2 and along way off parts of the stand not that hot. There were currys being brought in by fans from where I couldn't say. They smelt nice.
Very helpful woman at top of the Main Stand
Not bad Ched Evans and Joey Barton featuring for the away side helped to keep it hostile.
Better than mos, Fleetwood silent throughout.
