trebor has rated Halkyn Road 2.0 out of 5.
The ground is a decent one for the level that will only need a few improvements if the club were to go up. It has a full length covered main stand which is split by the changing room and players entrance the furthest side has covered standing.
A short walk from Holywell town centre and bus station, head east along Halkyn road and head for the community hospital whose carpark is available during weekends and evenings.
Buses 11 serve the town from Chester & Rhyl every 30mins taking 16 mins to Flint Railway station.
New stand has best seats but is low and has a safety net in the way, old stand has good cover but seats attached too old benches which slant forwards, seats were dirty.
Clubhouse toilets were small but dry, cold water only at a trickle, dirty towel for drying hands luckily the drier worked.
Beer at pub prices and served in plastic glass only basic lager on draught. Burgers cooked to order but very small.
Didn't see or hear any
Very dull away team are supposed to have good support but were silent
