If you've been to the other North Manchester lower league clubs you may get a sense of deja vu.
The area, the stadium, accents, and even the journey to them is pretty much alike.
The ground is fine with a club still appearing that is working out whether to stay traditional or modern.
Promoting Cashless & print @ home entry tickets off website great, not giving seat numbers or the option of selecting seats mean that entry is not quicker.
I had to ask steward where I enter who then explains which turnstiles to use, the turnstile operators then scan your code with a phone.
The Bury website says you cannot ''print @ home'' ignore it you can.
Facilities would struggle if a large crowd attended Bury dont get them so mostly they will do.
Very bare Clubshop
It's in a side street off Manchester Road with a nearby park which has a few local shops, If you Bus it from Manchester catch the 135 from Piccadilly Gardens this will take around 40 mins -1 hour .
You can use PlusBus tickets on the service.
You can take this to Bury Interchange too where there's more to do & use it to return to Gigg Lane..
All access to stadium is via the Main Entrance.
A cheap small Cafe s located in Car Park.
View awful few seats with unobstructed views, and they corden off the lower area of the Main stand which has obstruction free views. Those who reserved seats have a sticker on the seats meaning a wonder round looking for the best seat without one on.
Low crowds mean finding a adequate seat is pretty easy.
Oddly access to Main stand is via an internal staircase even though the stand is small.
Main plus is there are lots of seats with plenty of legroom along the walkway about midway up the stand.
Oddly home fans do not get to sit behind a goal one is closed and the away end is behind the other.
Located in a dingy dark area one small toilet block, in this case thankfully Bury's support struggles to half fill the three stands that are so it can cope with its regular attendance.
Quite steep pricewise, nothing special although a nice touch of homemade Cupcakes for a £1 probably for charity.
Again one outlet enough for its attendance. Rear windows to give Daylight into a very dark area.
Few on hand to advise were to sit and gain access, the speeding up of ''Print @ Home'' is slowed by the ticket not having an entry gate or seat number. Most I saw were collecting, ordered tickets from a window.
Could have been in any stadium in North Manchester, my previous ground was Oldham Athletic the experience was identical.
