trebor has rated Maes y Dre Recreation Ground 2.5 out of 5.
As the other clubs sharing the park were playing there was a choice two Football and a Rugby match.
There are turnstiles but not in use. It has one large looking tatty stand that offers covered seating but facing the west will get wet. Flat standing on muddy road and roped off grass are separating training pitches. This is an Ex-LOW ground.
Easiest of the three clubs to get too that share the park. You can enter from Morrisons, over the Canal or from the Main entrance. You can watch Welshpool on your way too Waterloo Rovers if they are on the same time. Trains and buses stop nearby.
Unbroken seats were ok with plenty of room but the stand was very tatty which looked as if vandals have been busy. You can stand at the back or towards the sides vie is ok. its pretty close to the pitch and walking Infront puts you almost on the pitch.
Toilets at back of stand, dark at night water and soap.
Priced cheaply, it wasn't ready at kick-off so I had my tea at Waterloos game.
Always volunteered at this level most have multiple roles and it's a lot of work to keep a club running.
None at all.
