trebor has rated Etihad Stadium 4.5 out of 5.
Having a very expensive world class side it would be easy to become arrogant and alouf but City haven't forgotten their roots of being a local family club by maintaining friendly supporter/staff relations around the ground.
You also don't get the attitude that fans visiting should all know their way around that occurs at some big club's
Close enough to City centre and a multitude of options to get there Manchester seems to be taking the Europeans approach to Public Transport with an excellent Tram system that moves crowds efficiently.
Catch tram G to Ethiad or E to Ashton its three stops along from Piccadilly.
Buses were lined up
It was also walk-able. 1.5 miles and sign posted
It can take up to 40 minutes to exit after match which is very acceptable for 55,000 crowds.
Main down point there are not many independent food/pubs close by. But can be found if you look.
The ''Helter Skelter'' style walkway up to the top tiers are at a gentle gradient and are far easier than stairs, possible for a fit helper to push a wheelchair up.
If you are on the City/West side you will get multiple views of the City skyline as you go round and round on the way up.
I like the steep grade and legroom in front as you can see if the row in front stands but you need to keep constant guard of your bags encase they go tumbling along way down.
Loads, clean and easy to find located ''round the back'' to eliminate the pong from entering the serving areas.
Expensive but tasty from the City Chippy next to the Cafe. 10 inch Lancashire Sausage with lots of add-ons
They have an understanding that not everyone attending will be familiar with the ground so help out without any sign of annoyance.
City tend to employ experience rather than cheap U'18's
Airport style security but aren't strict on bottles.
All for City fans who were loud and sang ''City songs. Bournemouth were quiet, and only sang generic copycat rubbish when they tried City easily drowned them out.
