trebor has rated Edgeley Park 4.5 out of 5.
Large for non-league and has been refurbished to League One standards. Big Cheadle End that's new, a large main stand opposite a covered family stand and an open away end. Traditional Northern setting with classic main stand.
Easy walk from station take the exit to the left and head up the hill, turn left head straight on over a few crossings and when ground comes into view head right for most stands and left for popular side. a few pubs and takeaways in Castle Street
Their wasn't a price difference for the comfy padded seats in the main stand, legroom was average, view from right behind dugouts was good bar the post blocking the home end goal, good cover from weather apart from the sun.
Too few and small for the size of the stand only one for Gents in the Main Stand but both sides for Ladies the route is closed for a time while players use the tunnel that crosses the path.
Pies looked good but as there isn't a price list or menu I had to guess what was being served and caught a hotdog sneaking its way into the keep warm drawer. Not enough outlets.
Good and helped with the discreet seat code that took some working out
Ok from the Cheadle End, I was among what seemed the elderly supporters preferred area so had a chat with friendly locals.
