"Marian would be proud"

A Football pitch in a recreation park if you time it right you could get to watch Dolgellau Rugby club playing or the Cricket team in spring. Ground has one stand with seats named with sponsors or club legends all sides railed and enclosed by security fence.

Location

Middle of town, head towards main carpark and head to far end it has many access points from town centre, Dolgellau served by T3 Wrexham - Barmouth and T2 Bangor - Aberystwyth, plenty of pubs and cafes.

New main stand slightly raised to provide good views, few posts, clean and tidy, well sheltered. The labels are not reservations but sponsors or memorials to club legends. Park bench at back, flat standing all round no shelter

Facilities

Strange set up with rugby club house closer to football pitch than the football facility that housed their toilets.

Food & Drink

Burger van selling hot food and drink, Rugby club serves alcohol but you cannot take this to the football pitch, covered fence blocking view from it's beer garden, Rugby players stood on scaffold to look over fence.

Police & Stewards

Welcoming and have good memories.

Atmosphere

Picked up in second half due to three home goals, rugby club supporting away team.
