trebor has rated Bramall Lane 2.5 out of 5.
Why build a stand and have it off the side of the pitch? It's got a balcony view around the back.
The stadium itself is reasonable for a Championship Club. A well attended stadium with a few things to do prior to kick-off, including a small museum giving a history of the club, but £3 for the visit.
Easy walk from station:-
Head left walk over road and head directly down Shoreham Street should take around 15 mins.
City Centre not far, I'd drink there if your an away fan, close Pubs are Home fan only.
Comfort as I had an end of the front row seat. View awful as its off the side of the pitch, meaning view is impeded by the main stand, not helped by Stewards, Security standing in front watching the game. If you want to sit in the Kop head higher up.
A bit of a trek up stairs, not sure if disabled fans have access to other stands. I used the Museums as it was quite and warmer and possibly cleaner.
Reasonable Tea which should be expected at Northern Stadiums.
Plenty of outlets around the stadium and on the road from station. City Centre
Terrible no Police to watch for away fans exiting their end, Security spent their time watching the game impeding views of fans in the corner of the Kop. They also did nothing when a Bottle was thrown at the Keeper. They should go in get the perpetrator out to show an example.
Also clearly pissed up fans who'd brought drink in bottles, with Children helping them into their seats as they were to wrecked to stand up.
Loud and not generic, Norwich City were quite and boring.
