"Not as decrepit as I was expecting."

I sat in the main stand which is by no means new but was comfortable and was reasonable for the level of football It would still be acceptable at professional league level.
It's old in an old city and will be gone soon.
Cash turnstiles, no online booking. £15-17 a bit steep for 6th tier football.

Location

Easy quite pleasant walk from station; Exit at side of platform three head left through carpark, the new footpath will take you over the river and then into a carpark, walk to the end turn left under the railway line, head right and walk along Bootham Terrace, cross main road and down either road to stadium. About 0.8 miles.
You can only enter ground at either main stand or the first terrace you come to.
Very little around amenities wise and not much parking either nearby, lots by along footpath

Surprisingly good for such an old stand a roof that covers the front rows, windshields and on second row lots of legroom and elevated enough to see over dugouts.

Facilities

Not many a queue and nowhere to dry hands. It looked like both main stand and home terrace shared one toilet block. Small crowds at this level meant only just coped.

Food & Drink

To expensive but a proper tea (Yorkshire Tea) made by staff to how you like,even asking if you'd like teabag in or out. Very nice Burger with proper Bun excellent customer service.

Police & Stewards

Surprised to see any Police for this level and only 55 away supporters. Stewards interacting with supporters always a positive.

Atmosphere

Probably more of a league feeling due to the size of stadium and crowd, no generic s@@@
