"Poor facilities, but you're watching Barcelona..."

Let's be honest, the stadium definitely needs modernising, and it seems like the club are aware of that. But shabby facilities aren't going to stop anyone from going.

Location

A little out of the centre, but connected by two different metro routes

View

I saw some comments about the view, but I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Obviously if you sit high up you have a distant view of the pitch... it's a bigger stadium than most. Still, even sitting in the highest block you can pick out which player is Messi, which is Suarez, which is Coutinho... and my eyesight's not the best.

Facilities

This is the weak link of the stadium. As far as I could tell, there was only one small food and drink stand on the third tier serving a total of 10 blocks on the third and fourth tiers. I didn't visit it during half time but I imagine it was packed.

Food & Drink

I only had a coke before the match started. €3.70, so quite overpriced. Food looked pretty standard.

Police & Stewards

I didn't see any issues with the policing or stewarding of the game. Security checks were as prompt as you'd expect, and the steward in my block helped direct people to their seats.

Atmosphere

It felt a little flat at times, I was sitting at the opposite end of the stadium from the small 'Ultras' section, so the noise didn't really carry well across the pitch. Most of the crowd were louder when chanting for Catalan independence than when Barcelona scored.
