Great Stadium with great passionate fans. Been there twice, once to watch Man City the other a German Cup game v Hertha. Home fans never stopped singing. The fans are great, my ticket for the Champions League Game was in the home end & i was told its ok to wear my City top & beanie & even being amongst thousands of home fans queuing to get into the stadium i never felt intimidated or threatened in any way & had no issues with any Dortmund fans in fact everybody was nice and polite & joking around.
I was with a friend who is a season ticket holder at Dortmund so i never had any problems due to being with him.
View was fine for both games i attended, leg room was ok same with seats really.
Toilets were clean and plenty and the stadium in general was clean.
Dont remember what food i had but i did notice something i hadnt experienced before and that was i had a card (looked like a bank card) you have to get credit put on this card and then you use that card to buy food and drink inside the stadium.
didnt really notice the police to be honest.
Atmosphere well all i can say is in the home end (safe standing) they have a section a huge section for fans who sing and they sang the whole games even through extra time & the Hertha fans were also singing all game. Regarding the fans i never felt intimidated all the time i was there it was very friendly & also everybody spoke English to me.
