"Hospitable And Fun"

A day trip from Gatwick to Guernsey and a bus to Footes Lane brought me to a stadium busy with enthusiastic and friendly folk, The facilities are more than adequate for anything Guernsey are ever likely to need and the welcome extended to those venturing on a football excursion from Great Britain leaves a feelgood factor that lives on long after the evening flight home. A quirk of ' English' football that may not survive long term, but for the people associated with Guernsey FC, their passion and welcome makes me hope it does.
