I visited for an FA Vase tie with a friend. I expected very little and indeed it's about as small as a ground gets but it was pleasant and did have one comfortable little stand. Ultimately, I love football in grounds such as these.
Fairly close to Rye train station and very easy to find. No problems here.
We sat in the one little stand they have which was perfectly acceptable. Also, incredibly close to the action.
It has a club house which seemed fine. The use of planks of wood to reach the stand wasn't brilliant. Didn't use the toilets.
I had a burger which was easily the best food I've encountered at a football ground. Not bad prices either.
I don't think I encountered any at all, but police presence isn't necessary during games like this.
Impossible to make an atmosphere at grounds this small but it was well attended and both sides had a good, respectful following.
