Yes, the Keepmoat looks like a nice ground, and it's certainly better than where Donny used to play (Belle Vue), but it's just so typical of those new grounds. There's nothing to separate it from all the other new venues - everywhere you look, the ground is the same! It has no character to it. It's soulless. One good point about the Keepmoat is the staff that work there, who let me into the ground to take some photos! :)
The stadium located next to the Lakeside retail park - quite far from the town centre, but it is accessible just off the M18 if you're driving. Parking isn't too bad on the side streets around the stadium. There's only really one pub nearby which is a Beefeater and is packed on a match day - you may be better drinking in the ground.
Although I don't like new grounds, the view was unobstructed and facilities good enough.
As you'd expect from a new ground.
It was a local derby (Donny v Sheff United) and they were serving beer inside the ground, which I was pleasantly surprised by! There's also an orderly queue (which is policed) meaning it's not the usual pile-up at the bar! The stewards were asking the younger ones for ID though.
Seemed fine - no real problems.
Very poor for a local derby... the vocal Donny fans seem to be located to the right of the away fans.
