I like the Galpharm/McAlpine Stadium. It's a new ground, but it has been built close to the town centre and isn't the usual new build identical stadium that you seem to get nowadays.
The stadium consists of 4 arched stands that are built slightly into a hillside - making the ground quite distinctive in the Huddersfield skyline.
Away fans are housed behind one goal where the facilities are quite impressive - as is the home support.
In the town centre and quite easy to park near it too. A quick warning to people driving - if you're heading south after the game, do not follow the signs to the M1 as they take you to Barnsley before you actually get to the motorway. Take the most direct route on the map instead (A642, then A637 to junction 38).
Excellent.
As you'd expect from a relatively new stadium.
Beer is served in the ground, although the away concourse is actually uncovered.
Seemed good enough.
The home fans make a good deal of noise, at both sides of the away support.
