I visited Sincil Bank in March 2005 for the local derby between Lincoln and Scunthorpe.
Sincil Bank is quite an odd stadium with one decent-looking stand, 2 smaller stands behind the goals and the one remaining stand only covers about a third of the length of the pitch - leaving big gaps to each side.
Pretty near the middle of Lincoln and easy to park on the side streets.
A decent view for the away supporters, who are sat at the side of the pitch (not behind the goal).
Pretty basic really, but it's not the newest of grounds.
I can't remember, but I don't think they were serving beer... I might be wrong through!
The stewarding at Sincil Bank was shocking. Supporters were stood wherever they wanted, meaning that the aisles were blocked and you couldn't move if you wanted to get out. It looked as though Lincoln had sold more tickets than they had seats, so people were just squashed into the stands. Not something you'd expect to see at a football league ground.
Not great for a local derby.
