stuff10 has rated Don Valley Stadium 2.0 out of 5.
Originally built for the World Student Games in 1991, Don Valley was an impressive athletics venue, but this really isn't a place for football. As impressive as it once was, the ground is beginning to show its age now. The away end is uncovered, but luckily for us it was a nice night... I imagine it being pretty bleak in winter though!
The ground isn't in the centre of Sheffield, but is easily accessed by the Supertram, either from Meadowhall or the middle of Sheffield. Parking around the ground looked fairly easy and there's a fair few pubs about in Attercliffe.
The running track means that you're too far away from the pitch.
Fairly basic - the toilets were a glorified portacabin!
Seemed jolly enough from what we saw.
Only the home end has a roof, which means all the noise escapes. Pretty poor really.
