Craven Cottage is a proper old football ground... steeped in tradition with a decent, modern redevelopment job!
It's located in central London, right next to a big park, close to a tube station and adjacent to the river Thames.
Craven Cottage also has the added notability that it's the only professional football ground in England to have a neutral section. This section of the ground is shared with the away supporters and is intended to be used by tourists who are visiting London and wanting to sample an English football game. It's a good idea and certainly helps fill the ground for the smaller, less-glamourous matches.
I'd highly recommend a visit there!
Craven Cottage is right next to the river Thames and about a 10-minute walk away from Putney Bridge tube station.
Relatively steep banking on the terrace means you'll get a decent view of the action.
Relatively modern, but not as good as some of the newer grounds.
Craven Cottage is in a great location next to the river Thames and on a good day you can enjoy a pint whilst relaxing out in the sun, watching the boats go by! Brilliant!
Didn't see any problems, even with the shared away/neutrals section.
The atmosphere from the home fans was fairly flat when we went.
