"Another good Midlands non-league ground"

has rated The Grove 3.5 out of 5.

stevenatp's review of The Grove

All good at The Grove - large terraces, real ale in the club house, free pint for Non League Day!

Location

Number 9 bus from Birmingham goes right past the ground.
Parking seemed a little limited.
Couple of welcoming pubs right by the ground, 'King Edward VII' and 'Waggon and Horses'

View

Decent size open terracing on one side and behind one goal, 15 steps deep.
Covered terracing behind the other goal, with seating on the other side.

Food & Drink

Nice clubhouse. Draught lager, cider, Guinness + 1 real ale.
Some interesting memorabilia on the walls focusing on the clubs 1980's Wembley trips.

Atmosphere

Atmosphere a little flat - no noticeable away fans for the FA Cup qualifier I attended
Good to see to see plenty of kids there acting the goat on the terraces, they were possibly like myself sampling the place for Non League Day but hopefully will keep on going.
