southerntraveller has rated Loftus Road 2.0 out of 5.
A trip to West London to see your team play away at QPR should be one of the better away days but due to the fact all pubs in the vicinity of the ground allow only home supporters inside makes it a disappointing day out if you travel to the match on your clubs official coaches. Having said that the fact QPR usually gives Birmingham supporters both tiers of the School End stand makes for a good atmosphere inside the ground, and for me travelling up to London by train means I usually enjoy the day out.
Right in the centre of Shepherd Bush, 1 main line station and 2 underground stations close by aswell as plenty of buses.
The ground is very compact and if your seated at the back of stands the view can be limited due the the stand roofs but if the away side bring a good following the atmosphere can be pretty good.
Plenty of places to some food around the ground but no pubs for away fans.
Found the policing to be ok outside the ground.
Because Birmingham had been given both tiers of the away stand the atmosphere from the away end was really good but the home supporters are pretty quiet.
