somersetman50 has rated Broomfield Park 4.0 out of 5.
A great old ground that had a distinctive 'cottage' type house that faced the pitch at 45 degrees. Below this were the dressing rooms and supporters sat in the stand above. Broomfiled was very distinctive in character with a low main stand that had a high perimeter fence and individual floodlights mounted on top. You were always aware of the red diamond shape that formed the association with the team's colours. Had a semi circular grass area behind each goal and the old blue 'handicapped' cars used to park round the back.
It wasn't easy to landmark.
Great view
Lively but never hostile.
