Horrible area. Abusive fans. Unless by rail, a long walk to the stadium. Over zealous stewarding and unhelpful staff. All the pubs around the area designated "Home Fans Only" and heavily doored. Not much fun for the away supporter.
If you travel by rail you are fine getting to this stadium. The nearest tube station is Seven Sisters which is along trek down Tottenham High Road. All immediate car parking around the ground is permit only for local residents, so expect a good half-hour walk to the stadium if you can find any legal side street parking. Beware that this part of London has a higher crime rate than most areas. Otherwise, pay £10 to park your car in a grotty back street industrial unit.
All the ground has been remodernised over the years (mainly in the nineties) so generally all areas give good views of the playing area.
As usual, not enough toilets so expect queues at half-time. Clean enough. Concourse fairly spacious so not too much crowding.
Has a no alcohol policy from 15 minutes before kick-off so did not bother.
Steward search somewhat heavy on entry. When the knob-heads that "sit" next to the visiting supporters start being abusive and start flicking their wrists the stewards just laugh along with them like it's dead funny! Do what you're paid to boys instead of enjoying a freebie game! Police not really noticeable.
Visiting supporters create the most atmosphere until Spurs take the lead, then they wake up! Once fully behind their team they can be very vociferous. Gets spoilt though by that painfully, p-a-i-n-f-u-l-l-y, p--a--i--n--f--u--l--l--y slow "When the Spurs go marching in!". By far the worst chant/song in English football.
