smithybridge-blue has rated The Keepmoat Stadium 3.0 out of 5.
Typical new stadium based on the outskirts of the town on the Lakeside Retail and Leisure Park. Large Car Park on the site of the stadium but no side street parking as it is all Double Yellow Lines due to all the different units around the area and it not being residential.
There is a club/bar at the stadium with no restrictions (ie. membership for entry). Beer prices slightly higher than normal but only to be expected as there are no other watering holes in the immediate vicinity.
The stadium is rather sterile as is the norm with most new builds of this type. Serves its purpose.
Great location if you have a car as it's not far from the M18 and easily found by following the signs for Lakeside. Well away from the Town Centre.
A good, unobstucted view of the playing area.
Clean toilets. TVs on concourse showing all the latest on Sky Sports News.
Normal football ground prices for drinks but food prices a bit steep at £2.90 for a pie and £3.50 for a Yorkshire Wrap (whatever one of them is!). Easy to get served as well staffed and not many people spending.
Did not notice any police. Found the steward we spoke to was not interested in customer service. On entry to the seating section, we asked where our seats were and the reply was "Dunno, I don't usually work in this stand." Nice bit of planning and prep before your job, fella!
Low key atmosphere along with a low key game (and this was a top of League 1 fixture!)
