smithybridge-blue has rated Stadium:MK 2.5 out of 5.
Although this is a well constructed and pleasant stadium to visit, the lack of history and charactor of this club gives a feeling of a manufactured matchday experience. 21st century football.
Once you have negotiated all the roundabouts getting into Milton Keynes it's found somewhere near Bletchley on a huge retail park. Unless you pay to park at the stadium there is very little street parking to be found as the area is full if Retail and Industrial Units.
As this is a new and well planned stadium the views are very good and will be even better if they ever get round to putting seats in the top tier.
Large enough clean toilets. TVs can be viewed on the concourse. The alcohol bars are situated at the rear of the stands so that they are not in view of the pitch. Therefore they are nothing but soulless concrete rooms with no TVs and no views. There is a spacious social club situated next to the Hilton Hotel although there is a distinct lack of seating.
Standard food and drink available at the usual premium price.
Did not notice police presence. Stewarding seem an easy ride here to to well signposted seating arrangements.
More than half empty stadium gives a low key atmosphere. A manufactured matchday experience from a manufactured club.
