smithybridge-blue has rated Ochilview Park 3.0 out of 5.
Easy to locate near the centre of Stenhousemuir, but there is nothing there to do peripheral to the football. Friendly, talkative fans. Neat and tidy ground.
Well located near the town centre. The "town centre" is an Asda, which has been built right in the middle of the traditional High Street. Needless to say, the High Street has been made obsolete. Couldn't even find a decent pub and takeaway here so drove into Falkirk to find a decent watering hole and some scran.
This ground has only 2 sides. A main stand ( all seating) along the side and a covered standing area for away fans behind one of the goals. The view in the main stand seats is adequate and comfortable.
Clean toilets underneath the main stand but could do with some maintainence.
Decent food and drink at decent prices. No alcohol available, as at all Scottish grounds due to drinking ban within the stadium.
No big police presence and stewards helpful enough.
A reasonable atmosphere for this style of stadium as visitors, Dunfermline bring along a good sized following at this level of the Scottish game. No doubt, this is spoiled as the ground has two open sides.
