smithybridge-blue has rated Loftus Road 2.0 out of 5.
Vastly overated by football commentators who probably have a nice seat somewhere on the half-way line. Try coming into the Away section and see what it's like.
The ground would probably be "comfortable" if it was only three-quarters full, but it obviously cannot cope with a capacity crowd. Excessive stewarding, poor facilities, bad viewing of playing area.
Certainly not worth the excessive costs of visiting.
Plenty of eating and drinking establishments in Shepherds Bush Green 10 minutes walk away.
Easily accessible by the Tube stations at Shepherds Bush Green or the A40 if going by car. Sidestreet parking can be found off the Uxbridge Road if you are prepared to walk a distance.
For an away fan this is just awful. On the upper tier you can't see the near goal line unless you're in the first few rows. And what they charge the Away Supporters for this privelige is taking the biscuit!
The concourse is just a narrow alley that just gets blocked up with bodies. There are food kiosks and bars facilities if you can get there, and as for trying to get to the toilet!!!
Did not even attempt to find out.
Over the top stewarding on entry. Treated like cattle.
Packed little ground gives a good atmosphere, but that's about all it's got going for it.
