smithybridge-blue has rated Johan Cruyff Arena (Amsterdam Arena) 4.0 out of 5.
As would be expected of a modern stadium in a big city with a top European team, the huge stadium has top facilities and a superb atmosphere for the big games. One wierd aspect is the dual carriageway the goes underneath the structure!
Although the stadium is located in the south of the city, it is easily accessible via the Metro from Centraal Station and the overground railway network.
As this is a new, modern stadium all the views of the playing area are uninterrupted.
Toilets presentable.
Did not notice as I'd had enough to drink in Amsterdam!
Plenty of police around as this was a big Champions League game, but didn't spot any trouble.
Great loud atmosphere from a big crowd.
