"Great atmosphere with the roof closed."

This stadium has the best facilities around. Good transport system to and from the Centrum, clearly sited and efficient ticket office, wide spacious concourse and an array of food and drink second to none. Good views. Great atmosphere (especially when the roof is closed). Friendly, helpful local supporters. A pleasure to attend a game at this stadium.

Location

Not too far from the centre and easily accessable by either bus or taxi.

View

Big modern stadium with great views, although the Oosttribune has pillars half-way up the stand.

Facilities

Big, wide concourse with plenty of room to move about, without the usual pushing, shoving, dodging and weaving to get where you want, which is what you usually find in the more modern stadiums.

Food & Drink

Buy Munten (tokens) from machines clearly sited on the concourse. The downside is that there is a minimum purchase of 10 Euros to obtain your Munten. The upside is that there is such a wide variety of food kiosks with huge selections of different kinds of goodies to eat. Other grounds can learn a lot from what this stadium has to offer.

Police & Stewards

Wondered what all the frisking was about going through the turnstyles. Home fans treated like away fans, which is a bit strange.

Atmosphere

Good atmosphere as the roof was closed due to the cold and threatening snow. This kept the atmosphere within the confines of the stadium. Home supporters behind the goal, flag waving and in good voice.
