"Shocking ground"

sheepshagger98's review of Cressing Road (Amlin Stadium)

For the level of football Braintree Town play at (5th tier of the english football pyramid), this ground is shameful. Although stewards and fans are very friendly and welcoming.

Location

Braintree is only a small town but the ground is down a few winding streets. Hard to find.

View

Pillars blocking view in seated stand but behind goals and standing at the side is fine.

Facilities

Very basic. If you are visiting Braintree as an away supporter I recommend going to The Orange Tree pub before the game, that is top notch! Closest shop is the Co-op. Not a lot in the ground.

Food & Drink

As I said, not a lot in the ground so visit the Orange Tree pub.

Police & Stewards

Seen no police on my visit but stewards are really welcoming and have a conversation with you about football.

Atmosphere

More atmosphere in a grave yard.
